Canos mini - Cannulated Osteosynthesis System

Surgical bone fracture treatment has seen many significant developments in the past decades. Another milestone in this evolution is the new “CANOS mini” system.

Apart from arthroscopy as a “minimally invasive surgical technique”, such tissue-sparing techniques are also available now for certain types of bone fracture treatment.

The innovative “CANOS mini” cannulated screw system is simply ideal for the treatment of fractured extremities, thanks to its range of screws of sizes 2.3, 2.7 and 3.5 mm. The system significantly facilitates the surgeon’s work in daily traumatologic practice and provides a higher standard of safety in patient treatment.

The color-coded instrument set has been designed for minimally invasive application. Thanks to the self-recessing screw head, the cannulated titanium mini-screws can be inserted flush with the bone surface.

“As much stability as necessary, yet retaining as much vascularity as possible” and “utmost safety for patient and user” – these guiding principles are fully reflected in the design of our “CANOS mini” cannulated mini-screw system.

• Radial head fractures
• Distal radial fractures
• Fractures of the first metatarsal (MT I)
• MT I displacement osteotomies
• Minor osseous avulsion fractures of the radial or ulnar epicondyle of the humerus

• Surgical treatment of osteoporotic bone (only with washer!)
