Hand Surgery

For hand surgery, KLS Martin has developed a highly innovative, comprehensive product line for traumatologic indications. Prominent examples are the Herbert Ulnar Head Prosthesis (UHP) and the Headless Bone Screw System (HBS). It also includes special solutions for radial correction (FAROS C) and ulnar-radial shortening (URV). An absolutely unique tool is the internal finger distractor for metacarpal lengthening (GENOS MC). All of these products are the result of an intensive collaboration between researchers, development engineers, product specialists and hand surgeons of global reputation.

This product range is supplemented by new developments for the prosthetic replacement of important individual arm joints. Here again, KLS Martin uses novel materials and manufacturing techniques. Product development is accompanied by comprehensive clinical studies. Clinical experts support the development process with their technical expertise, working closely with the development engineers to get the product ready for serial production in a joint effort.
