Success requires talent. In fact, there is a steadily growing demand for qualified managers. An interdisciplinary mindset, social competence and a distinctly problem-solving behavior are increasingly gaining importance. “General management skills” need to be developed and promoted more than ever before, along with practice-oriented and economic thinking. The objective is to train and optimize the management skills and competencies of prospective managers in the medical technology and health care fields.
Admission to the Tuttlingen International Business School requires a degree from a higher education institution (university, specialized technical college [e.g. Fachhochschule], college of advanced vocational studies [e.g. Berufsakademie] or similar professional school) plus, usually, approx. 2-year work experience.
The groundwork for the Tuttlingen International Business School has been laid to ensure that it will become a successful player on the market. Following an initiative taken by Tuttlingen’s municipal council, the district council also decided to promote the project and support it financially. Besides, the internationally noted Reutlingen European Business School could be won as a partner. Furthermore, internationally active and globally recognized medical technology firms have also been involved in developing the whole concept, contributing with their know-how to a course of studies that is closely related to the world of professional practice.
Needless to say, the KLS Martin Group actively promotes the new course of studies. Apart from supporting students, we also provide a lecturer. For further information, please visit www.mba-tuttlingen.de.
