From the outset, KLS Martin reps began traveling to many countries around the world – including Japan, of course. As a result, strong relations were forged with Japan as early as the 1950s. Needless to say, there were language problems and cultural differences – barriers that had to be mastered. Luckily, fair cooperation and high-quality products and services are a sort of communication that works everywhere in the world.
In addition, there was a certain determination – a trait not altogether untypical for KLS Martin – that also provided the necessary input for overcoming all barriers. In fact, there could never be any doubt that KLS Martin was positioning itself well in the country of Nippon. Japan is a nation that values reliable quality products – not only with regard to its own manufacturing principles, but with a view to supplier selection in international markets as well.
Since 1995, Gebrüder Martin has its own subsidiary in Japan so it can better satisfy the very specific and incomparably high demands of Japanese customers. This is reflected in a very positive business development and a growing reputation. Together with the Tuttlingen Customer Service, ten local employees are exclusively engaged with keeping KLS Martin’s Japanese customers happy.
