Talking about Stuckenbrock really means talking about two different companies: Stuckenbrock Medizintechnik GmbH (founded in 1990) and Karl Vögele Medizintechnik GmbH, a company with a long tradition in the manufacture and sale of high-quality surgical instruments that began in 1884.
In addition to developing their own products, both companies improved their respective market positions through takeovers. When Stuckenbrock and Vögele finally merged in 1998, their joint product portfolio also included the products of H. and H. Handte (Tuttlingen, 1994) and Implant Medizintechnik (Berlin, 1996).
In 2002, Stuckenbrock Medizintechnik GmbH acquired shares of Josef Heiss GmbH, a company that had previously been owned by Gebrüder Martin. Today, Stuckenbrock employs roughly 40 people.
