marCut® stands the bipolar Martin scissors for open surgery, used for cutting, dissecting and coagulating. They allow fast and safe tissue dissection while hemostasis is achieved at the same time. To guarantee optimal results, the maxium® HF generator offers a special type of current – Forfex – that has been specially designed for use with Martin’s bipolar scissors.
marClamp® is Martin’s bipolar vessel sealing system for use in open surgery. The new maxium® HF surgical unit enables users to seal blood vessels or tissue bundles permanently and safely in a highly targeted manner, without any lateral thermal tissue damage – thanks to the maxium® HF system’s special “Seal Safe” current and the optimal pressure applied with the marClamp instrument. In this sealing process, the collagen present in the vessel melts to create a permanently sealed zone.
