Grand opening of the KLS Martin WORLD

On the evening of 20. January 2016, we celebrated the inauguration of our new "KLS Martin WORLD" training and exhibition center with around 90 guests from regional politics, commerce, the public and friends of the company.

On approximately 1,500 square meters, this provides the setting for the future-oriented transfer of knowledge.

The newly constructed building at a cost of nearly EUR 10 million is a further milestone in the 93-year old history of the company. With the new training and exhibition center we have created a new opportunity for showcasing products and customer consultation. "We initiated the project in 2013 as we are convinced that mutual dialog and exchange of ideas with our customers, together with a mutual transfer of knowledge, guarantees the long-term success of the company", explains Karl Leibinger, Managing Partner of the KLS Martin Group.

Surgical innovation is our passion. This philosophy guides our actions. "The new training center is an expression of our innovation strategy. The building creates a setting for new ideas and innovations as well as training of our customers at the highest level." states Christian Leibinger, also a Managing Partner. The new training and exhibition center of the KLS Martin Group is equipped with everything that makes up state-of-the-art medical technology. During a guided tour, the guests were able to see this for themselves. The exhibition area is housed on 350 square meters and highlights the product diversity with exhibits from the latest product generations. The exhibition also features an operating theater and gives an overview on the history and milestones of the company.

"The centerpiece of the building is the auditorium, which offers room for up to 100 guests and is equipped with the latest media technology, and is not only suitable for presentations but also for live broadcasting of surgical procedures and concerts. Two workshop rooms and an entire cleaning and sterilization unit offer future visitors the opportunity of practice-oriented training", explains Managing Director Michael Martin. The five conference rooms also allow participants to hold video conferences with clinics or universities. The rooms are flooded with light and guarantee a "clear head". A cafeteria and ample parking space round off the overall concept and offer the perfect setting for all events.
