Pssst. Come this way. It’s night in our KLS Martin WORLD. The perfect time for our secret mission of putting presents under the tree. To not wake up the others and still have a clear vision of what we are doing, we chose our MedLED® Chrome headlight. A nice feature of the headlight – it’s cordless, and therefore mysterious secret mission moves are possible.
Christmas is the time to express our appreciation to others and give something back. This year, we are therefore once again supporting a good cause and donating 10,000 euros to Pestalozzi Kinder- und Jugenddorf Wahlwies e.V.

2021 is a special year for us. A year in which we could look back on 125 years of company history and at the same time gained many new valuable experiences and improved patient care together with you. Thank you for the good cooperation and for being part of our journey. Unfortunately, it was not possible to meet many of you in person again this year due to the pandemic. We look forward to making up for this soon.

Fairy tales or heart-warming stories are an integral part of every holiday season – at least when spent with kids. We grab our favorite story, snuggle up on the couch, and dim the lights to create a serene atmosphere. How nice it is to hear a fire crackling in the fireplace and to feel the comfy warmth filling the room during the holiday season. However, when you extinguish the fire, smoke rises and covers all the festive smells like cinnamon or our Christmas goose. Every cookie lover knows: We follow the well-tempered and timed baking process of cookies with finishing touches. In the case of our KLS Martin cookies, this means decorating each cookie with a hand engraving and a lot of love. Who can guess which device we used?
Time to bake some cookies. We could produce them via different methods, like additive manufacturing, laser cutting, or simply by hand. When it comes to baking, do you think we could run cookies off the line instead of "tempering" our surgical instruments?

To ensure we give our Christmas tree the right KLS Martin touch, we must add the decorative stars which are still missing. These come in many different varieties, but they all have one thing in common: many ends, and they all converge in the middle. These characteristics are also the heart of our Flower Plate. What Christmas decorations do you put on your tree?
When decorating the house for the holiday season, it’s a must to add a lot of Christmas lights to create a festive atmosphere. This can quickly lead to cable chaos on the floor. To avoid this tripping hazard, we use our medical supply units which provide all the necessary connections, and the best feature – you can also use them to place decoration must-haves on them, like advent wreaths.
Sweet and heart-warming… we are talking about chocolate fondue. Although it is not a classic holiday tradition, we make it our own. To melt and to keep the chocolate fluid, we use our Xcelsior water bath. Do you know its everyday use?
The answer is resorbable osteosynthesis. You warm up implants in the Xcelsior water bath, making the plates bendable and easily placeable in the desired area. After implantation, the implants disappear over time. Do you want to know how this is possible?
What would the holiday season be without a cozy sweater to snuggle in, when the snow is slowly falling outside our windows, the fire is crackling in the fireplace, we enjoy all the delicious sweets with a hot cup of tea and scents of cinnamon in the air. This heavenly vision is enough for us to try knitting ourselves. This year we asked ourselves what our holiday season would look like if we took our products out of their normal environment, the OR, and instead used them for holiday preparations - therefore, celebrating a real “KLS Martin Christmas.”
