Abstract

Customized implants enable us to transfer virtual plans in very high accuracy to OR. Especially in orthognatic surgery they close the gap between 3D-planning and surgery. Surgery gets faster, more accurate and fulfills patient’s expectations easily. Furthermore, advanced techniques like surgery first, segmentation of the maxilla or osteotomies of the zygoma become routine end extend the surgical spectrum.

This webinar will cover the use of customized implants in corrective jaw surgery including orthognatic cases, patients with obstructive sleep apnea, patients with clefts or secondary posttraumatic surgery.
