The KLS Martin Group is delighted with the timely completion of the new parking garage at its Tuttlingen site. The modern facility has been available to employees and guests since the beginning of the week.

Since the beginning of the year, passers-by have been able to follow the construction progress of the multi-story parking garage across the street from the KLS Martin campus (Ludwigstaler Straße, towards Nendingen). Following the completion of the shell construction in June 2025, the technical building equipment in September, and the landscaping of the outdoor area in October, the parking garage has now been put into operation as planned. Access is via Ludwigstaler Straße on the north side of the building – a two-lane entrance with a barrier provides convenient and secure access.

The new parking garage offers 375 parking spaces across seven floors. Generously sized, clearly marked parking spaces allow for stress-free parking and ample space for getting in and out of the car. Each floor has separate ramps for entry and exit, which prevents oncoming traffic and optimizes traffic flow, especially during rush hour.

Access to the parking garage is limited to KLS Martin Group employees and external visitors. Exit is possible at any time via an automatic barrier opening. An elevator in the southern stairwell ensures barrier-free access. A pedestrian crossing to the KLS Martin campus has been set up via Ludwigstaler Straße.

Focus on sustainability

Another step toward sustainable infrastructure: the parking garage roof will generate electricity via photovoltaics in the future. The electricity will supply the parking garage and, via a ring line along Ludwigstaler Straße, the new logistics center. As part of the energy infrastructure renewal, the installation of electric charging stations is planned for summer 2026.

Progress in the expansion of the logistics center

Parallel to the completion of the parking garage, the KLS Martin Group is also making significant progress on the new logistics center at its Tuttlingen site. The new building will be connected to the existing logistics center and will cover 6,000 m². The construction project represents the most significant single investment in the history of the KLS Martin Group to date. The project aims to optimize site logistics further and strengthen infrastructure for future growth. The expansion is a central component of the company's long-term strategy.
