HBS 2

The HBS 2 system is comprised of headless cannulated screws intended for the treatment of fractures, non-unions, arthrodesis, and osteotomies of the hand. Additionally, the HBS 2 screw is capable of performing small joint fusions in the hand. Osteosynthesis is achieved through differing proximal and distal thread pitches that generate compression of bone fragments for reduction, stability, and healing.

Our HBS 2 screws come sterile packed and are available in mini and midi diameters with various thread lengths. This allows us to safely and efficiently treat a wide array of fractures and conditions.

All screws are self-drilling and self-tapping, shortening and simplifying the surgical technique. The reverse cutting threads also allow for easy screw extractions.

The compression screws can reliably close larger fractures gaps through compression generated by two different thread pitches.

The HBS 2 instruments are designed to be simple yet efficient. They are all color coded to their respective screw size for easy identification.
