Ixos

Radius fractures are among the most frequently encountered injuries in surgical treatment. Multi-directional locking plates are a common form of treatment for radius fractures

Our Ixos multi-directional osteosynthesis plating system makes treating a wide array of distal radius fractures simple and efficient.

Ixos comes as a comprehensive and user-friendly plating sytem including palmar, dorsal, lateral, and ulna plates. All plates accept smartDrive screws and require minimal instrumentation.

Ixos plates are available in different designs to match proven treatment concepts. The plates are treated with type-II anodization, which enables high surface stability while maintaining a low plate profile.

Anatomical plates allow for precise reduction and fixation. The rounded atraumatic plate contour gently embeds in the soft tissue, preventing irritation.

Our smartDrive screw portfolio consists of standard and variable angled locking screws that are compatible with all Ixos plates. The screws are designed with an atraumatic screw tip and self-retaining T-drive function.

Our instruments are color coded to increase ease of use.
