The bridge was installed overnight, as the work required a brief interruption of rail traffic. The process was carefully coordinated with Deutsche Bahn to ensure the installation could be carried out safely and on schedule. The new connection will significantly improve a comfortable, safe commute for employees in the future.
Starting in November 2025, a multi-story parking garage will be constructed south of the railroad tracks in the “Am Lippach” industrial area in Mühlheim, with completion scheduled for fall 2026. It will initially offer 286 parking spaces and, following a planned expansion, will accommodate up to 392 vehicles. This new parking garage is a central component of the reorganization of parking and traffic management at the site. By consolidating employee parking outside the company premises, internal traffic will be significantly reduced, increasing safety and creating new development opportunities on the site.
A new parking garage has also been built at the Tuttlingen site and has been in operation since the end of November 2025. It offers 375 parking spaces and has since significantly eased the parking situation by providing a modern, well-organized, and secure parking solution.
The parking garage in Mühlheim is also part of a comprehensive redesign of the entire campus. Another key element of this development is the construction of a new office building in the “Mühlenösch” expansion area. It will eventually house around 220 modern workstations and will be complemented by a centrally located employee restaurant. The groundbreaking for this construction project is scheduled for the second quarter of 2026.
The successful installation of the pedestrian bridge, the construction of the new parking garage, and the planned office building together form a forward-looking overall concept that creates optimal working conditions for employees and strengthens the long-term development of the Mühlheim site.
