With the bipolar vessel sealing system, consisting of a high-frequency generator with the SealSafe® IQ current and our instruments for vessel sealing, vessels or tissue bundles can be effectively and permanently sealed without prior individual imaging or necessary preparation. The body's structures, such as collagen and elastin, are transformed during sealing, creating a permanently sealed zone.
The SealSafe® IQ is a process-controlled current mode in which a continuous information exchange occurs between the HF generator and the IQ instrument. The impedance of the tissue being sealed is continuously monitored.
Safety comes first with the precise SealSafe® IQ current specially adapted to this type of application. Only the tissue between the instrument's jaws is sealed so that lateral thermal damage to the tissue is kept to an absolute minimum. The SealSafe® IQ current mode guarantees minimal tissue adhesion and prevents tissue carbonization when used correctly.
