Questions and Answers
Regardless of whether you want to join us as a school student, university student or experienced professional: Here you can find the answers to frequently raised questions about applying or joining the KLS Martin Group.
Please note that we only accept online applications via our job portal.
There you can apply directly for a vacant position, or - if you cannot find anything suitable for you - you are welcome to submit a speculative job application.
Using our Application Wizard, you can simply formulate a personal covering letter and upload your documents as attachments. Please fill in the fields as exactly as possible and then send off your application. As soon as you have received an (automatically generated) receipt from us, you can be assured that your application has reached us in full. It is therefore essential to ensure that you have written your e-mail address correctly.
You will also receive your personal access data to the Application Wizard. There you have the opportunity of viewing your application at any time and modifying the data.
In case of queries, please always contact the person quoted in the respective job vacancy. There is no single key contact person.
An application consists of a covering letter, a CV and certificates.
We would also appreciate any references.
The CV is the key document in your application documents and should therefore always be included. It should be structured clearly and give a quick informative overview on your background (type of education, professional experience, other qualifications and skills, etc.). The decision as to whether you want to include a photo of yourself is left entirely up to you.
Certificates confirm the different phases of your CV. Please therefore ensure that there are no gaps in your CV. Please also ensure that your current certificates (school, university and, if applicable, employer references) are available in digital form to add them to your application.
Please only upload your documents such as application letter, CV, certificates and other documents in .pdf format only. Your application photo can be uploaded as .jpg, .png, .gif or .tif. Make sure that the file size does not exceed 50 MB. You can upload a maximum of four attachments (covering letter, CV, certificates and other documents).
Should you not have found a suitable job vacancy on our job market, you are welcome to send us your speculative application. In case of a speculative application, your covering letter should state clearly for which of our departments you are interested in.
Of course, you are welcome to apply for more than one job vacancy.
Your documents are only passed to persons involved directly in the application process. For example, this includes the responsible person in personnel and, of course, the relevant specialist department. We will naturally keep your application confidential, protect your data against unauthorized access and will not pass them on.
In a first step, your application is vetted by our personnel department. If you appear eligible for the position, your application will be forwarded to the relevant specialist department.
As a next step, a member of the specialist department will vet your application. If you meet expectations, you will be invited for a personal interview. The objective of the meeting is to find out more about you - professionally, but above all, about your person. Our request: Please be open. This is the only way to find out if we match well.
If you make a positive impression during the interview, we will possibly invite you for a second interview afterwards or give you our decision as soon as possible.
