The group of companies is foregoing the Christmas present for customers and business partners and is supporting the Tafelladen in Tuttlingen this year with a donation of 10,000 euros.

Everyone should have enough to eat - that's exactly what the Tafelladen Tuttlingen is there for. It provides customers with high-quality, tested food throughout the year - and at an affordable price. Especially in times of the corona pandemic, the Ukraine war, and a resulting inflation, the Tafelladen is an important contact point and constant for socially weaker citizens.

"The number of customers at the Tafelladen has doubled within the last six months. Currently, about 170 needy people come to the Tuttlingen Tafel every shopping afternoon. Our logistical effort has increased enormously and with it the costs that must be covered. That is why we are very happy and grateful for the generous donation from the KLS Martin Group. It helps us to continue to be able to serve all clients well and not have to turn anyone away," said Jürgen Hau, managing director of the district and county deaconry office.

"Despite the international crises and dire circumstances, KLS Martin Group was able to successfully close the 2022 fiscal year. For us it is a matter close to our hearts to pass some of this on locally to the citizens in the Tuttlingen area. We were able to identify with the principles of the Tafelladen right away - sustainability, humanity, and social responsibility. After all, a lot of food that is still good is thrown away. On the other hand, there are people who have too little to eat because they can't afford to buy it in the supermarket. The Tafelladen brings these two imbalances together and thus makes an important contribution that we would like to support with our donation," says Christian Leibinger.
