As our next-generation vessel sealing generator, the maxium® sealer features a sealing performance optimized to the last detail. In addition to that, the maxium® sealer stands out in terms of easy handling due to its well-known Plug & Play function and intuitive user interface. Equipped with the SealSafe® IQ current type and in combination with our IQ instruments, the platform is suitable for laparoscopic and open procedures.

Click & seal with the new trigger function!

You no longer need to activate the sealing phase permanently. When using this function, press the activation button briefly to start the sealing process. Once activated, the trigger function will ensure the current flows continuously until the sealing cycle is complete.

Dual bipolar functionality – Work with confidence

With the bipolate current type, the maXium® sealer offers an additional current type next to the vessel sealing current SealfSafe® IQ. Bipolate is an ordinary coagulation current for bipolar coagulation and can be activated using our foot switch designed explicitly for the maXium® sealer.

Trigger function

Function: The maXium® sealer features the activation mode "trigger function". With the trigger function, you only need to tap the activation button once to activate the vessel sealing current.

Benefit: No need to press the activation button throughout the whole sealing process.

Bipolate current

Function: The bipolate function allows you to use your vessel sealing instrument to perform "normal" bipolar coagulation.

Benefit: There’s no need to change the instrument during the procedure.

Efficient sealing mechanism: How SealSafe® IQ technology works

With the bipolar vessel sealing system, consisting of the maXium® sealer with the SealSafe® IQ current type and our instruments for vessel sealing, vessels or tissue bundles can be effectively and permanently sealed without prior individual exposure or necessary preparation. During sealing, the body's structures, such as collagen and elastin, are transformed to create a permanently sealed zone.

The SealSafe® IQ is a process-controlled current mode in which a continuous exchange of information occurs between the HF generator maxium® sealer and the IQ instrument. The impedance of the tissue to be sealed is continuously monitored.

With the precise SealSafe® IQ current specially adapted to this kind of application, safety is a top priority. Only the tissue located between the instrument's jaws is sealed, ensuring that lateral thermal tissue damage is restricted to an absolute minimum. The SealSafe® IQ current mode guarantees minimal tissue adhesion and prevents carbonization of the tissue when used correctly.
