On the occasion of the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery World Congress, Christian Leibinger, like his father Karl Leibinger in 2015, was appointed an Honorary Fellow of the International Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons (IAOMS). The IAOMS Foundation, as a non-profit organization serving the international specialty of oral and maxillofacial surgery, supports surgeons worldwide by improving education, training, research, and advocacy. According to IAOMS Immediate Past President Ass. Prof. Dr. Gabriele Millesi, Christian Leibinger is part of the IAOMS family as a long-time and generous supporter of the IAOMS Foundation, especially as he is committed to continuing this support in the future.
