Investment in the Future and the Location
With this construction project, the KLS Martin Group is responding to its continuous growth and the rising demand for modern workspaces.
“With this project, we are not only creating new jobs but also actively shaping the working world of tomorrow and strengthening our location in Mühlheim in a sustainable way,” says Christian Leibinger, Managing Director of the KLS Martin Group.
The large-scale project thus represents a clear commitment to the region and underscores the group’s long-term orientation.
New work environments for 220 employees
The office building is designed as an open, flexible work environment. Modern workplace models, such as desk-sharing, are planned alongside complementary quiet zones and communication areas. A highlight of the building is the nearly seven-meter-high meeting room, which will be used for internal training sessions and meetings, among other things. Here, a seating staircase accommodates up to 100 people.
This creates optimal conditions for exchange, collaboration, and efficient processes – key prerequisites for an innovation-driven company.
The company restaurant as a meeting place
A key element of the new building is the integrated company restaurant. It will serve as a central meeting place for all employees at the Mühlheim site. The restaurant offers approximately 230 seats per shift and can serve several hundred freshly prepared meals daily. Furthermore, the space is flexible: for events, the area can be expanded to accommodate up to 800 seats.
“The company cafeteria will be the heart of the new building. It creates space for interaction, exchange, and community – and thus contributes significantly to a modern corporate culture,” says Christian Leibinger.
Sustainable construction setting an example
Special attention is being paid to the sustainable implementation of the project. “The building is being constructed using an innovative timber-frame method. Particularly noteworthy is the load-bearing wooden floor slab, which is elevated up to one meter above ground level and is unique in this form,” explains Axel Waizenegger, one of the project managers at KLS Martin.
The goal is to use resources as efficiently as possible and to create a flagship architectural project for sustainable construction in a corporate context.
