KLS Martin Group opens new office building in Mühlheim

We have opened our new office building in Mühlheim. The former office and warehouse building of the Rudolf Buck company was renovated and transformed into a modern office. There, 80 employees from four different departments find their new workplace.

"The new office is a new milestone for us, as it shows how we want to work in the future," Christian Leibinger emphasized at the opening ceremony. "Through the open design, we particularly want to promote togetherness and exchange." The office concept is also the model for the construction of the new company headquarters in Tuttlingen, which will begin later this year.

The already existing building was designed and built in 2007 by the architectural office Muffler from Tuttlingen. The architecture firm also accompanied the conversion of the warehouse into today's office. Together we have created a new, modern working environment. "We are very proud of the result and could imagine that the employees don't even want to go home," quips Karl Leibinger during his opening speech. "We were able to create a space with soul, where people feel comfortable. It's not for nothing that employees affectionately call the new office their living room," explains architect Heidrun Muffler.

The open-plan office no longer has fixed workstations, which is made possible by the uniform IT infrastructure and lockers for each employee. Private areas with sofa corners and telephone booths allow for retreat and loosen up with colorful accents. The various work zones are framed by sideboards, partitions and plants, which not only give the room structure, but also coziness. The acoustics were taken into account with appropriate ceiling suspensions and wall panels.

Karl Leibinger wishes all employees every success in their new workplace: "We all make a living from the company. The new office should help us to contribute to the success of the company together and, with success, also enjoy a beautiful workplace."
