For Adalbert, the exchange of ideas with other people forms the core of his work. In sales, he especially appreciates the opportunity to contribute towards shaping and developing things, and being able to rely on trust and support in doing this. Over the years, this has repeatedly given rise to ideas that have become an established part of everyday working life.
The direct contact he has with clients plays a key role for him. He has the opportunity to contribute his knowledge and provide support even in challenging situations in the hospital setting. At the same time, it is important for him to share his experiences and also to inspire young people to work in sales.
This becomes especially important at times such as when providing support during surgical procedures. Whenever he is able to provide support directly on site, he is reminded why he enjoys his work so much. The proximity to professional practice and the direct sharing of expertise are what drives him.
For Adalbert, it is important to share knowledge and to help other people a little further on their way. He believes what mainly drives development is when people work together – in a team, with clients, and by sharing experiences. He is consequently regarded as "the face of KLS Martin in craniomaxillofacial surgery" and he considers this primarily as a sign of trust and long-term collaboration.
For Amelia, what makes her work at KLS Martin special are the everyday opportunities for collaboration. As part of a dedicated IPS® engineering team, she works closely with clinical partners to develop individual solutions that make ideas into a tangible reality. A key driver of her motivation is knowing that this work can have a direct and meaningful effect on people's lives.
In her role as IPS® Design Engineer, she is driven by the wish to help someone. The close collaboration with clinical teams enables her to develop solutions that can make a real difference for patients. Her own contribution, even when only a part of a whole, is especially important if it contributes towards improving someone's quality of life.
For Amelia, especially defining moments are those in which planned and constructive solutions are implemented in the real-world setting. The experience of not only seeing results on a screen, but experiencing their effect directly, is what gives depth and meaning to her work. For her, it is precisely this proximity to people that makes her role so special.
Amelia's role is characterized by her collaborative and solution-oriented approach. For her, the best solution develops where engineering expertise, clinical experience and a shared sense of responsibility meet, and always with the focus on people themselves.
Three departments, with a shared goal: In a project on the handling of hazardous equipment, Andreas, Alexandra and Mike have shared their various perspectives, from planning, via packaging through to shipping.
What characterizes their collaboration is that each person contributes their expertise, while at the same time a shared understanding of the entire process develops. This, in turn, gives rise to solutions that not only function in theory, but also exist in everyday practice.
A defining moment for the team was not just the success of the project itself, but what remained afterwards: a partnership that comes together again right away, even for new aspects. It has been possible to continue to develop processes, without having to start from scratch.

For Anja, this entails some challenges; an especially notable one was a development project that initially seemed complex and demanding, yet gradually developed into some unique. For Cândido, people are at the centre of his work at KLS Martin. For many years, he has been involved in international sales with a clear conviction that solutions are most effective when they produce a tangible benefit, both for users and for patients.
He feels the most motivated when people are better equipped to tackle their challenges thanks to the solutions on offer. Whether engaging with medical professionals, technical contacts or decision-makers: for Cândido, the most important thing is to listen, to understand, and to work together to find the right solution.
He especially appreciates it when he receives feedback that shows how the decisions made have a long-term effect and affirm trust. Moments like these give depth and meaning to his work, and remind him why inspiration and conviction play a key role in sales.

HCM Service Center Specialist

For Ingrid, payroll is an area in which trust is created over again every month. Every check needs to be right, every process has to function reliably. This responsibility is what defines her work.
What motivates her is the combination of expertise, structure and an eye for interrelationships. She analyzes processes, finds solutions and develops processes further to ensure that they function in the long term and remain understandable.
This becomes especially clear in situations that demand rapid support, such as recently when payroll for another site was taken over at short notice. For Ingrid, the fact that everything ran smoothly demonstrates what this depends on: reliability, experience and a good eye for the essentials.
Alongside her everyday duties, Ingrid also drives the continued development of the department – through the digitalization, automation and continuous improvement of processes.
It is important for her that the work is not only accurate, but also becomes easier and more transparent for everyone concerned. After all, she believes, the focus is the people who rely on everything being correct.
For Lauren, sales is about far more than just products. It's about being therefore for your customers – being reliable, solution-oriented and having a genuine understanding of their needs.

One experience that particularly reflected her passion was an urgent case in which an operation hung in the balance because of a delivery delay. She and her team pulled out all the stops to organize a solution – involving different sites and outside of normal working hours.
Ultimately, she collected the implant herself and brought it directly to the surgeon – accompanied by her daughter, who became a 'superhero' overnight. It was a moment that showed what is possible when you truly believe in what you do.
For Lauren, this is exactly what her work revolves around: taking responsibility, making solutions possible, and being there for her customers – with the aim of making a real difference for patients.

For Manuel, a surgical lamp is much more than just a technical product. It is the result of a complex interplay of mechanics, electronics, optics and design – and this combination of disciplines is what inspires him each and every day.

One example of when his passion was especially showcased was a recently passed production inspection by the body TÜV. For someone to experience how processes interlink, how quality meets the expected standard and how teamwork functions well meant more than just success for him – it was an affirmation of being part of something greater.
What drives Manuel is this feeling of truly making something happen. With team spirit, self-responsibility and genuine conviction, he works on developing products further and working with others to continuously improve.
For Miguel, customer service is about far more than processes and procedures; it's about people. He has been advising customers in Spain and Portugal for many years – and in doing so, he has forged relationships that go far beyond professional life.
What drives him is the trust placed in him and the need to find the best possible solution every day. Together with his team, he masters new challenges and ensures that customers feel properly cared for at all times.

Moritz works on the interface between medicine and technology. What drives him is the opportunity to develop solutions from complex requirements that make a real difference in everyday surgical practice.
Working in close collaboration with craniomaxillofacial surgeons, ideas are developed that he translates into product concepts. In the field of digital surgery planning is where he experiences a special dynamic – and the opportunity to actively contribute towards new approaches.
A defining moment for him was the collaboration with a surgeon who wanted to develop a new method for mandibular reconstruction. Simulations made it possible to demonstrate that this approach is sound. For Moritz, this is key: when an idea gives rise to a solution that is applied in practice in the future.
He believes that users should always form the focus. Effective solutions develop from understanding, exchange and the willingness to think in new ways – and this is precisely what he finds fascinating about his work.
Mohamed works in the field of implants – an environment where the impact of his work is immediately apparent in his day-to-day activities. For him, close collaboration with customers and partners is paramount.
He is motivated by finding solutions together and being seen as a reliable partner. Especially with products that are critical to patient care, precision, trust, and quick responses are essential.
For him, defining moments are situations where new customers are acquired and they directly experience the difference in collaboration and service. This feedback shows him how important commitment and reliability are in his daily work.

For Poi Kuan, the core of her work at KLS Martin lies in collaboration. Her greatest motivation lies in the rapid growth of KLS Martin and the times in which all employees cohesively work towards a shared goal.
In her role as Director of Supply Chain and Production Planning, she finds it especially important to actively support her teams, whether in everyday business or when solving complex problems. She sees great potential in continuous improvement and the targeted increasing of efficiency. Her core passions lie in developing solutions, strengthening the teams and making improved results possible.
A defining milestone for her was the successful introduction of SAP ECC under the extraordinary conditions during the COVID-19 pandemic. Despite high complexity, a tight schedule and limited resources, the project contributed significantly towards a sustained improvement in collaboration within the KLS Martin Group.
She also counts the company-wide Operation Excellence project among her special intense experiences: the high level of dedication, the mutual support and the shared will to change made this period especially impressive.
What characterizes Poi Kuan is her firm belief that attitude makes the difference. Mindset, a sense of responsibility and inspiration are what define successful work for her – now and in the future.
Head of Operations, Individual Patient Solutions

Siegbert has been working for many years in the Individual Patient Solutions department, a setting in which every case is unique. What motivates him is the job of developing solutions from individual requirements that make a tangible difference in everyday clinical practice.
To do this, he combines a medical need with technical precision and teamwork. For him, the greatest added value is created where different perspectives converge and people work on a solution together.

For Sonja, quality begins in the detail. In the final checks of screws, she takes responsibility for products that will be used in surgical procedures later – a task that requires the greatest care and a well-defined awareness of quality.

A defining moment for her was the introduction of new technologies in production. The added value of her work shows when she can see how innovation supports everyday working processes while further increasing product quality.
For Sonja, one thing is clear: favorable results are only achieved when working together. With responsibility, dedication and a firmly established team mentality, she contributes to not only the attainment of quality, but also the repeated experience of it every day.
Stefan's role is drive innovation in a targeted way and to continuously develop products and processes. What primarily motivates him is the question of how situations in the medical setting can be improved, step by step and with a clear goal in mind.
The variety of issues in product development offers many starting points for this. At the same time, exchange within the company is a decisive factor: sharing knowledge, developing ideas together, and learning from one another.
A defining moment for him was the takeover of a major project that involved several sites. He considers the trust that was placed in him and the opportunity to contribute his own experiences to be representative of his work at KLS Martin.

Head of Validation & Process Risk Management

For Vera, quality never stands alone – it always goes hand in hand with responsibility. In her work, she ensures that processes and products meet the highest standards and that patient safety is guaranteed at all times.
What especially motivates her is the relationship between technical requirements and tangible benefit. Together with colleagues from a range of departments, she works on developing solutions that are sound, not just on paper but in everyday practice.
One example that especially reflected her passion was a project during which a functional solution for a complex cleaning validation developed with a tight deadline. The result demonstrated the importance of experience, trust, and collaboration.
For Vera, this is where the core of her work lies: bringing structure to complex issues, providing assurance, and working together to achieve results that can be relied on. She performs her role calmly, with care and with a good eye for the important details, and thereby contributes towards embedding quality in the long term.
Wojciech works on the interface between technology and organization. What primarily inspires him is how complex IT projects give rise to solutions that have a tangible effect in everyday practice, whether for colleagues, partners or customers.
An important part of his work is collaboration with others. In projects, he draws together a range of perspectives and guides teams in developing joint solutions. For him, the greatest added value is created when technical expertise and experience are combined.
A defining moment for Wojciech was the conclusion of a comprehensive S/4HANA project. Over many months, a variety of people developed into a team that jointly worked towards a goal. For him, this type of project is exactly what demonstrates the importance of cohesion and shared responsibility.

For Xiang Bin, what is especially exciting about his work is the relationship between technical challenges and real-world impact in the clinical setting.
