IPS Gate® | Update with new features

We are therefore pleased to inform you that on April 15, 2023, we will be implementing three enhancements designed to make the customer experience even more convenient.

#1 Fast and simple access to the archive

Case overview with direct selection of ongoing or archived (closed and cancelled) cases

The case archive is of great importance, as it can be used to access closed or cancelled cases. Fast and simple access to the archive is therefore essential.

Filtering for old cases was previously only possible via the dashboard followed by a search in the case list. From now on, an immediate overview of all cases will be displayed after logging in. Selecting the three filter options "Active", "Completed" or "Cancelled" facilitates immediate access to the active, possibly cancelled or already closed cases. All three options can be freely combined with each other.

#2 Selection of reference cases during case creation

Often when new cases are created, mention is made to the fact that the IPS® design team should use the products and design of an older case as a guide. For this reason, a new feature has been added which shows the case creator all comparable historical cases. To display these reference cases, the following parameters must be selected: added physician, selected indication and the anatomical region.

Selected reference case and automatically adopted product selection

Once these parameters have been specified, IPS Gate® suggests the matching cases. The reference cases can then be displayed and the appropriate case can be selected.

As soon as the reference case has been identified and selected, its product details are adopted. Drawings and other manual specifications must still be performed independently, as experience has shown that these generally differ from the reference case.

#3 Introduction of the own team of physicians: "Surgeon Staff"

Adding new or viewing already saved Surgeon Staff in your profile

A role has always been in place in the form of the so-called "Case Manager", who can continue to process the case in the absence of the physician on file. However, this "Case Manager" is tied firmly to the clinical facility on file for the case.

With the introduction of the new role of "Surgeon Staff" it is possible to create an own team in the respective IPS Gate® profile, which is tied to the user. The "Surgeon Staff" will then be automatically saved for all new cases in the future.

In this context, users working in more than one clinic can also specify a different "Surgeon Staff" for each facility.

The separate role of the "Case Manager" continues to exist.
