marTract® MIDCAB

The new marTract® system for minimally invasive coronary artery bypass (MIDCAB) includes two individually adjustable traction devices. For sufficient stability, a large amount of force is no longer required when pulling the rib arches and the system is easily adjustable. The traction device is also secured when force is applied. The handles and support arms can be positioned as desired, providing maximum clearance for minimally invasive techniques.

A tissue stabilizer can be easily attached to the system using an adapter, eliminating the need for a separate device. The system is attached to the operating table in the sterile field and is not placed on the patient with the risk of pressure sores and vascular injuries. The system setup can be realized from the surgeon's side or the opposite side.

Thus, only one retractor system is required for the entire MIDCAB procedure: marTract® for MIDCAB
